Filtered Earplugs for Small Ears

The EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus are designed to protect your hearing without interfering with your ability to hear routine sounds or conversations. Their triple-flanged stem design is tailored to fit larger ear canals and provides a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24dB. The earplug's proprietary design incorporates a special noise-reducing filter, which allows safe sound levels to pass through into the ear canal while reducing potentially harmful noises (above 85dB).

The EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus come with attached filter caps that can be inserted for additional protection and blocking out lower-level noise, such as that found on planes, where hearing ambient sounds or conversations is not critical. The right and left earpieces are color-coded for easy identification and are made from a soft, yet durable, hypoallergenic polymer that ensures all-day comfort and an extended product life (up to 6+ months, depending on usage and care).

The patented EarLock retention rings utilize seven contact points to lock the earpieces in place, ensuring a secure fit every time. The soft, adjustable triple-flanged stems provide a secure seal in the ear canals, further enhancing the comfort and effectiveness of the earpieces.

The low-profile design of the EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus allows them to be worn while wearing a helmet, mask, or while using a phone or headset. They are available in clear, black, or orange, making them suitable for a variety of applications and personal preferences.

In addition to their hearing protection capabilities, the EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus can also serve as earpieces for compatible radio communication systems. This is achieved by simply removing the noise-reducing filter and attaching the earpiece to the system. It's important to note, however, that once the noise-reducing filter has been removed, the earpiece no longer provides hearing protection.
